I have been with Sherrard School District since1985. I am in my twentieth year as a building principal and amhonored to be working at the Matherville Intermediate School with thedistrict's fifth and sixth grade students.

An Illinois native, I was raised on a livestock and grain farm nearHull, IL just across the Mississippi from Hannibal, MO. My bachelors, masters and post-graduate degrees are all from Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL.  After teaching special education at the elementary and junior high level, I have been honored to be a building administrator at Winola Elementary and now Matherville Intermediate.

Each school year always brings some significant changes required of all the professionals working at Sherrard.  Pushing and extending ourselves professionally is always done with what's best for students as the driving force.

My husband, Brian, and I are the proud parents of Benjamin, Anna andReed.  They have attended the Sherrard District Schools for all their formal schooling!
