Our mission at Sherrard
Elementary School is to work as a staff in partnership with families
and community to maximize individual student learning potential
academically, socially, and emotionally to best prepare students for a
lifetime of learning,
positive community involvement, and the
realization of their goals.

Sherrard Elementary is one of three elementary school
buildings in the Sherrard Community Unit School District 200. This
learning center houses Kindergarten - Fourth Grade Classes. Kindergarten thru
Fourth Grade enrollment averages 265 full time students each year.
The staff serves all special
populations through our gifted education, special reading, and special education programs.
