Sherrard High School and all the schools in the Sherrard School District belong to the North Central Association. The accreditation of our school is evidence of our commitment to meet high standards, engage in school improvement focused on student performance, and participate in third party review.

Sherrard CUSD #200 wins National recognition for school boards accountability effort.

The district was honored for its "Fostering Accountability with Strategic Systems" effort. They have moved the organization forward by eliminating frustrating and chaotic meeting structures and created a comprehensive "Strategic Systems" approach to governance. By implementing the action team format to research-based data driven decision-making, they are being recognized as a model nationally for delivering meaningful learning programs for students.

The MAGNA Awards recognize districts from across the country for outstanding programs that advance student learning and encourage community involvement in schools. In the eleven years the national awards program has been in place, there have been less than 10 Illinois districts recognized.
