    Library Hours:  Monday - Friday 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. and 2:00- 3:30 p.m. 

    Check-Out Procedures: 
    Students may check out 2-3 items, including books and magazines. Items are checked out for a one-week period. Any item may be renewed for longer periods as needed, depending upon the needs of other readers.

    Lost/Damaged Policy:

    Books only need to be paid for if lost or damaged beyond repair. As of the 2019 school year, all fees will be turned into the office. Please send your student with exact change or a check, as the office cannot make change.  If a lost book is returned the fee will be erased.  Once a book has been paid for, half of the fee would be reimbursed into the student's lunch account if the lost book is then returned. 


    Frequently Asked Questions

    Q. How many library books may my child take out?
    A. Kindergarten & First Graders may check out one library book each week. As the school year progresses, 1st graders gradually move to 2 books per week. Second, Third and Fourth Graders may check out two library books and a magazine each week. 

    Q. Will my child be fined for overdue library materials?
    A. No, but overdue notices are given to the student the second week the library materials are overdue. If an overdue book shows on your child's record with the library, your child will not be able to check out any additional library materials until the overdue material is returned or the material is paid for.
