Virtual Science Fair

  • This year due to COVID 19, Matherville Intermediate could not hold their Science Fair that was scheduled for April 30. Instead, 6th grade science teacher Robert Wilson - held a Virtual Science Fair.

"This was a Google Classroom created to allow students to upload their project boards and speeches so that other students could also see their experiments," he said. Mr. Wilson then delivered medals to each student's home. Students were scored based on their knowledge of the experimental process used in class (experiment purpose, hypothesis, control testing, independent variable testing, and dependent variables), project board and speech quality and creativity, and experiment originality.

The following students were awarded Science Fair medals for their work.
