• General Information

    Sherrard Elementary is one of two buildings in the Sherrard Community Unit School district that houses grades K - 4. Currently, the school has an enrollment of 240 students with 2-3 sections of each grade level. Regular education classrooms are self-contained with an average of 17-25 students per classroom. Students are provided with a curriculum that includes language arts, mathematics, science, and social sciences. Physical Education, art and music classes are offered throughout the week.  Sherrard Elementary  has special education services available for all students who qualify. Students in the regular education program are provided with support from our Special Reading teachers. RtI interventions are provided for students that have been identified as needing extra help.
