  • 2021 PROM Cancelled
After much thought, consultation, and discussion, SHS has made the extremely difficult decision to cancel Prom, which was scheduled for May 1. The uncertainty of the many mitigations that will be in place combined with the need to finalize plans for the event have led us to this decision. Your continued understanding our need to keep students safe is appreciated.
Questions or concerns - email Tim Wernentin, Sherrard High School Principal.

  • Junior & Senior High Yearbooks

The district strives to minimize virus transmission and believes photographs need to be consistent with these efforts. As such, photographs in the yearbook and on social media follow protocols stated in Sherrard School District's Return to Learn Plan. As a result, photographs show students with face coverings and in socially distanced settings.

  • Sherrard School District gets creative for homecoming week

The weather was sunny with a high of 64 degrees, not a cloud in the sky - a perfect compliment to the much-anticipated community event, the Sherrard School District homecoming parade, held last Saturday, March 20. Traditionally, the parade is held in the fall prior to a home football game and in conjunction with a homecoming dance, but due to pandemic guidelines the parade had to be held during the spring, and creative ideas took hold to replace the dance.
