    To begin the enrollment process for Kindergarten, please complete and submit the following form. Your information will be added to our contact lists and you will receive additional information when registration opens for the upcoming school year. Students must be five years of age by September 1st to be eligible for Kindergarten.

    Sherrard School District has an urgent need for school bus drivers (regular routes and substitutes). Please read the following information and share it with those you feel would be a good fit for the position.

    All children 3 years old on or before March 2, 2020 can participate in preschool screening. The next screening will be at Winola Elementary from 9:00AM to 2:00PM. Please call (309) 596-2114 for an appointment.

    A number of schools in our viewing area have closed early due to the snowstorm that’s moving through area, whether they were getting on buses, or riding with parents. Sherrard School District wanted to make sure students made it home safely.

    The corn belt boasts a proud agricultural history that connects families; a link that spans time and begets passion. Corn, the gold of the midwest, sustains the agriculture industry, but the dangers of it’s cultivation, harvest and storage are countless.

  • Illinois 5Essentials Survey

    As part of the Illinois 5Essentials Survey process, schools will have the opportunity to hear from their parent community. The parent survey is to be completed by parents, guardians, or other caregivers with a child in grades prekindergarten through 12. The parent survey is available in English and Spanish and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
