    Students ordinarily would pick up their caps and gowns at school, but due to the COVID-19 virus, they were passed out individually while students and families waited in their cars.

  • Schools response to days off

    Since Illinios Governor J.B. Pritzker announced on March 13 all public schools will not be in session from March 17 - 30 in an attempt to minimize the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19). Local districts have been working on a plan to keep children engaged during the social isolation. Sherrard schools implemented an E-Learning strategy for teachers to work with students to maintain the concepts taught during the year so far.

  • Kindergarten Inquiry Form

    To begin the enrollment process for Kindergarten, please complete and submit the following form. Your information will be added to our contact lists and you will receive additional information when registration opens for the upcoming school year. Students must be five years of age by September 1st to be eligible for Kindergarten.

  • Two area schools districts make the national Advanced Placement Honor Roll

    The Sherrard Community School District and United Township High School District were among 11 Illinois school districts named to the honor roll. Nationwide, 250 districts were recognized by the College Board, a not-for-profit organization that strives to improve access to higher education.
